Working with a film camera forces you to work at a slower considered pace allowing a deeper connection with my subject. Add in the limited number of shots on a roll, normally 10 or 12 or for large format we have 1 capture at a time which means every shot counts, no machine gun shooting here.

Folk like me love the spirit of the image, the sympathetic tone, the grain, the feeling created when light is captured onto film.
