A portrait captured without the identity and labelling of one’s attire can be a liberating experience in any medium but when you add in the spirit of a vintage wet plate session the results are truly unique.

Each plate is individually crafted where the subject plays an integral role in its creation resulting in a truly personal image. I do appreciate that this is not for everyone but I am often surprised by those that come forward and the feeling of liberation and freedom that results from the whole experience.

All work is done in total confidence and images only shared at the request of the sitter.. Some of my best work is not for the public gaze.
